Presenters Guidelines

The conference hall is equipped with a laptop running MS PowerPoint and PDF Acrobat reader.

Full papers and special sessions

Presenters of full papers and special session papers are required to prepare a 15-minute presentation. Your presentation is scheduled in a 20-minute slot, please stay in the allotted time to allow 5 minutes for questions. The slide support format for your presentation must be either .pptx () or .pdf () format. Upload it together with a short bio file in .txt format.

The deadline to submit the A/V material is June 30, 2024.

Please name your file using the following format:

Presentation File: [Session_ID]_[session_slot].[pptx|pdf]

Short Biography File: [Session_ID]_[session_slot]_bio.txt

(Example: if your paper is the second talk of the Regular Session #1, the file names will be: R1_02.pptx and R1_02_bio.txt)


Posters

Presenters of posters must carry a printed poster that will be displayed in the coffee break area during the poster session. Please ensure your poster is in A0 format, i.e. 841 x 1189 mm (or at least A1 if you have trouble carrying it during your trip). The poster will be displayed vertically.

You are expected to print the poster and bring it to the Symposium. It is strictly forbidden to bring individual pages and assemble them on-site. IOLTS will provide the poster holder and necessary fasteners.

Your poster should be set up at least 1 hour before the start of your poster session.
